My WinAmp Playlist.

What's on Polly's iPod?

Just some of the stuff I'm listening to, right now. I've got ecclectic taste, so yes, as you can see I do break out of classic rock from time to time and explore other genres and bands even though rock is my major love. Diversity. That's what it's all about after all, yo. ;) So if you need some recommendations, how about these...

1. Moon River - Audrey Hepburn (from "Breakfast At Tiffany's") - Sweet, melancholy delivery... beautiful. My favorite part from one of my favorite movies.

2. J'ai Dormi Sous L'Eau - Air ("Soleil Est Pres De Moi") - I've loved Air since hearing their stuff all over the soundtrack of the movie "The Virgin Suicides". Great stuff to just chill to.

3. My Happy Ending - Avril Lavigne ("Under My Skin") - Okay, so I like one or two Avril songs. This one is actually pretty cool. I like the video.

4. Where Is The Love? - The Black Eyed Peas featuring Justin Timberlake - Just that the lyrics speak exactly what I am feeling. Where is the love, y'all? I don't know.

5. I've Got You Under My Skin - Frank Sinatra - The voice. This is classic Sinatra.

6. In My Life - Goran Söllscher (Goran Söllscher Plays The Beatles) - Just a beautifully done acoustic guitar instrumental. The melody of this song is already gorgeous, and hearing it like this just brings that out even more. Great to just chill to.

7. Did You - Hoobastank (The Spiderman 2 Soundtrack) - I just dig this one.

8. Lover, You Should've Come Over - Jeff Buckley ("Grace") - I adore this CD, and this is my favorite track from it. So heartfelt. Makes me weepy. He was gone from us all too soon.

9. Float On - Modest Mouse - Just a song I dig a lot.

10. The Way You Move - OutKast ("Speakerboxx / The Love Below") - Okay I am in love with this CD and this track makes me wanna shake my thang!

11. She Moves In Secret Ways - Polly Paulusma ("Run With Scissors") - Discovered this digging around in iTunes. Yay for new music! Awesome voice, and yeah, another Polly! ;)

12. Hash Pipe - Weezer ("The Green Album") - Cool, cool, cool, cool!!!

13. Maps - Yeah Yeah Yeahs ("Fever To Tell") - What an incredible delivery by Karen O. on this track!

14. Vertigo - U2 ("How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb") - It's U2. Enough said. This rocks!

15. She Will Be Loved - Maroon 5 ("Songs About Jane") - This is my favorite track from this CD, even though it's playing ALOT whenever you turn on the radio.

16. Breeze On By - Donny Osmond ("What I Meant To Say") - The first single from his upcoming CD. It's riff is from the George Benson song "Breezin'" and it's just an easy, feel good pop track.

17. Just Lose It - Eminem ("Encore") - The video for this song is hysterical. I'm not much of a rap fan normally, but I do like some of Em's stuff and I crank up the radio when this one comes on.

18.Rock Lobster - The B-52s - 'It wasn't a rock it was a rock lobster!' Just a fun dare ya not to dance song.I love it!

19 Aladdin Sane - David Bowie ("Aladdin Sane") - Who'll love a lad insane? Bowie rules. This is one of his best albums. My second favorite track from it.

20.Slither - Velvet Revolver ("Contraband") - So great. Crunchy guitar riffs from Slash, Scott Weiland's powerful voice, just... yeah. Rock on!

20. Bye Bye Bye - *NSYNC ("No Strings Attached") - Just a perfectly constructed pop song. I love to sing along!

21. Amber - 311 - This I discovered via the movie "50 First Dates". I dig it.

22. Let's Stay Together - Al Green - Oh yeah. Just nothing more to say.

23. No Matter What - Badfinger - This is a sentimental one. We used to hear this alot rollerskating after school in like the fifth grade. Ahhh great one!

24. God Only Knows - Beach Boys ("Pet Sounds") - This one is just purely beautiful. Brian Wilson is a genius.

25. Revolution - The Beatles ("The White Album") - Just a great rocker with a powerful message.

26. The New Pollution - Beck ("Odelay") - I love Beck! This is one of my favorites.

27. Positively 4th Street - Bob Dylan - One of my favorite Dylan tracks.

28. Strawberry Letter 23 - Shuggie Otis ("Information Inspiration") - An obscure but amazing artist. Really cool song. I love the chimes.

29. Creep - TLC ("CrazySexyCool") - I love TLC. This track always gets my groove on.

30. You Don't Love Me When I Cry - Laura Nyro ("New York Tendaberry") - I'm fond of singer/songwriters, and Laura Nyro was one of the best. The album "New York Tendaberry" is wonderfully dark and torchy. This is a favorite track of mine from that. She was incredibly expressive and didn't follow the flock. She spoke from her heart and is very much missed since her passing in 1997.

31. Waterfalls - TLC ("CrazySexyCool") - Another track from the "CrazySexyCool" album. It's just an amazing song and hits you right to the heart. The "I seen a rainbow..." rap from Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes lifts it up just enough, leaving a trace of hope within the hopelessness of the situations spoken of within the song.

32.Take Me Out - Franz Ferdinand ("Franz Ferdinand") - This one rocks. I love to crank it way up when it comes on!

33. Shine It All Around - Robert Plant & The Strange Sensation ("Mighty Rearranger") - It's Robert. Enough said. This whole CD is completely wonderful actually!

34. Pink Cashmere - Prince ("The Hits 1") Smooth and creamy soul. Mmmmmm.

35. Sympathy For The Devil - The Rolling Stones ("Beggars Banquet")- Just one of my favorite Stones tracks.

36. Walk This Way - Aerosmith ("Toys In The Attic")- Aerosmith rocks. One of my favorites.

37. My Cherie Amour - Stevie Wonder ("My Cherie Amour") - It's Stevie. I adore this one!

That's all for the time being. I'll be adding more stuff so keep checking back.
